Innovation: Induss co-finances 'BLUE CIRCLE', a research project governed by IWT

Water loop closure

The Blue Circle is focused on a more energy efficient and a higher percentage of water re-use in the industry, including a more sustainable use of minerals and chemicals. This project aims to provide an answer to the concentrate problems that arise when closing the water cycle. Within this project, on the one hand techniques for water reuse will be further optimized to pursue maximum water recovery. On the other hand concentrate streams will be further concentrated and different valorization possibilities will be examined to this end.
