Induss completed “the Lead Companies project” 2015-2016

30/06/2016

The ‘Lead Plants & Lead Companies’ project is a three-year-long initiative launched in 2012 by VOKA Antwerpen-Waasland, Kempen and Mechelen and supported by the Flemish Government within its ‘New Industrial Policy’ program.

THE OBJECTIVE

The project aims at improving the competitiveness of Flemish industry by providing a platform for peer-to-peer learning and exchange. This is an important task as Flanders, like other Western European regions, struggles to remain competitive in today’s hyper-competitive world.

Induss and other companies participated in the project, by committing themselves, through a series of workshops, to share how they deal with the key ‘Lead Company’ elements. These elements were identified prior to the start of the project as important to the international position of the companies.

THE LEAD COMPANY APPROACH

the Lead Companies program is a peer-to-peer trajectory for midsized companies. The program aims at supporting these companies to transform their company into an international top player.

During the workshops, participants gave presentations on a wide range of aspects that can turn the key ‘Lead’ elements into practice. Some topics of the edition 2015-2016:

  • People management
  • Mental capital
  • Determent’s of fast growth
  • Set up of international activities
  • Make or buy

If the project made one thing clear, then it is that the race to become ‘the best’ is never finished. It is a matter of continuous improvement at all levels: from products to processes, from organization to market.

The collaboration with Induss enables us to reduce our carbon footprint. Transparency in our partnership is also the key for better cost control of water and steam.

Thanks to Induss’ full examination and mapping of my various water needs, I now receive guaranteed quality and secured delivery of industrial water for my production line and that at a fixed price for a full contract length.
