The 'CSR (corporate social responsibility) charter', an initiative by Voka (Chamber of Commerce) and the Province of Antwerp with the industrial water treatment plan Induss I. Only those companies that go beyond the statutory obligations for improving their impact on people , planet and prosperity are eligible for this recognition.
And for the Environment Charter 2012, an initiative by Voka (Chamber of Commerce) and the Province of East-Flanders with the industrial water treatment plant Induss II.

On 25 January 2012, H.E. Mr. Ihor DOLHOV, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium, and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of the Mission of Ukraine to NATO & Mrs. Olga BUKAVYN, President of Belgian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce paid a working visit to INDUSS, one of BUCC members. The commercial team of Induss received the Ukraine delegation and gave a tour of the facility Induss I.

Induss existe depuis un an, une période pendant laquelle il s’est passé beaucoup de choses. Induss a été créée l’année passée comme une filiale de water-link, avec pour mission de répondre de manière ciblée, durable et économique aux problèmes de l’industrie dans le domaine de la balance de l’eau (ou de la gestion de l’eau). Induss I est un des plus grands fabricants d’eaudéminéralisée en Europe.

De Benelux heeft er een megafabriek bij voor bewerkt industriewater. De Induss I, die op 22 september jl. werd geopend door de vlaamse minister-president Kris Peeters, levert gedemineraliseerd water voor (petro)chemische bedrijven. De in Antwerpen gevestigde fabriek heeft een capaciteit van ruim 19.000 kubieke meterper dag. Eigenaar Induss, dochteronderneming van water-link, wordt daarmee een van de grootste leveranciers van industriewater in de lage landen.

In de haven van Antwerpen is donderdag in aanwezigheid van Vlaams minister-president Kris Peeters Induss I officieel geopend.
Het gaat om de grootste fabriek voor gedemineraliseerd water van het land, die water zal leveren aan bedrijven uit de chemie en de petrochemie. Met de fabriek is een investering van ongeveer 30 miljoen euro gemoeid.

Het proceswaterbedrijf Induss heeft een overeenkomst gesloten met Purazur. Dat is een vennootschap uit de stal van DEC, de milieudochter van de DEME-groep.

A nearly twenty-kilometre long distribution network has been built to supply the Port of Antwerp with demineralised water. To guarantee water quality, the company Induss asked VITO to identify the most appropriate piping material for the distribution network.
